Profile of Faculty: - Rajeev Sadanandan is the CEO of Health System Transformation Platform, a think tank on Health Policy and Systems in New Delhi. He had worked as health secretary of Kerala state, CEO of Rashtriy Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY), India’s national social health insurance programme in addition to holding many other positions in state and central governments. Rajeev worked for a brief stint in UNAIDS and has been a member of technical committees set up by UNAIDS and WHO. Recently he was Advisor to the Chief Minister of Kerala on Management of COVID and one of the Commissioners on the Lancet Global Health Commission on Financing Primary Health Care. His research interests include organisation and financing of health care. Currently his organisation is involved in supporting state governments by assessing their health systems and providing technical support for improving them.

Currently I Have been certified as an internal assessor (ISO:15189) For Laboratory diagnosis. Previously I worked with department of health Research, Ministry of Health & Family welfare as a scientific C. During the tenure of 7 years ( Nov, 2014- April, 2022), I had been working on infection diseases, in different roles- scientific, project management, capacity building, advocacy, stakeholder management, implementing surveillance projects developing monitoring and evealution report and writing scientific articles.
